Ultimate fun, moist, and colorful confetti cake
This Confetti white cake is beautiful and very delicious. It will be a perfect cake for a kid's birthday party, or a gender reveal party.
About This Confetti White Cake Recipe
- The white cake is very fluffy and moist that melts in your mouth. Adding the sprinkles brings that fun and colorful touch to the cake and adds a soft crunch to this cake.
- The crumb is fluffy, moist, and light in color, which is because of incorporating only egg whites. Yolks make the cake more yellow.
- As I said previously, this cake can be made for a gender reveal party. What you can do is, add only pink or blue sprinkles to the batter and make the outside a mix of blue or pink sprinkles 🙂 This Confetti White Cake makes a perfect birthday cake.
- Sprinkles are through the cake and the buttercream. For extra color, you can add some to the side of the cake after the frosting is done.
WHY THIS CONFETTI CAKE IS GOOD
- Light & fluffy white cake. The base of this confetti cake is very light and moist. It holds well to cutting the cake into slices.
- I decorated this cake with Swiss meringue buttercream (SMBC). It can be decorated with American buttercream or any other frosting. Please see my post on how to make SMBC 🙂
- The contrast between the white cake and the sprinkles makes the cake very pretty.
- This confetti cake is what you need for a kid's birthday party.
