For those who don’t know me, my name is Arezou.
How I Started Dream Cake True:
As a child, I was always interested in cooking and baking. I learned a lot from my mom, just being in the kitchen while she prepared meals for her family. It was always relaxing and brought me so much peace to be there with her and learn her techniques and recipes. Anytime I had free time, I would bake for my family – muffins, cakes, brownies, and you name it. Only a couple of years ago, I got inspired by the artistry of cake decorating and decided to experiment more with recipes and frosting.
How It All Started
I cultivated my skills casually and slowly. Every time I completed a cake or posted a picture online, my mom was as encouraging as she was when I was a child. She knew how much it meant to me to have her support and how much I enjoyed the skills I was learning. Unfortunately, I lost my mom to COVID-19 and began a long grieving process resulting from her death. I subsequently lost my passion and drove for baking and decorating as my family and I tried to move on from this tragedy. One day, I realized she would want me to continue my endeavors, inspiring my return to this page. Since then, I have dedicated more time than ever to baking, decorating, and learning. I can feel her support from heaven, and I know she would be proud to see me growing with every new recipe I create and practicing the creativity I inherited from her with every completed creation.
