These Valentine's Cut-Out Cookies are the most delicious yet delicious and flavourful cookies you can make. This cookie recipe will give you the softest and most tender cookies, and the Nutella glaze adds to the flavour and texture!
Leave the butter at room temperature before starting to bake. Mix the butter, powdered sugar, cornstarch, and salt until smooth and silky.
1 cup Butter, ¾ cup Powdered sugar, 2 teaspoon Cornstarch, ¼ teaspoon Salt
Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract.

Add the flour in two or three passes and mix well after each. In the end, you should have a silky and smooth dough.
2⅓ cup All-purpose flour
Shape the dough into a disc, cling wrap, and chill for one hour. In the meantime preheat the oven to 325. Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the dough. For easier rolling, place the dough between two pieces of wax paper.
Once the dough is ¼ of an inch thick, use your heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut the cookies. Place the cookies on the lined baking sheet and leave one inch of space between them.
Bake them for 8 to 10 minutes. They are done when their edges are set and slightly golden. Let them cool down before frosting.
How To Make The Glaze
Mix all the ingredients until smooth and silky. If the glaze is too stiff add more cream and if it is too runny, add more powdered sugar.
2 cups Powdered sugar, ⅓ cup Nutella, ⅓ cup Heavy cream, 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Use a small spatula or spoon to spread the glaze over the cookies. Sprinkle the glaze before it is set. The glaze will set after an hour.
