Every time I make a recipe that is using egg whites, such as Swiss Meringue Buttercream or CONFETTI WHITE CAKE, I will have a lot of egg yolk left over. Then I come up with recipes that only use egg yolks, and these delicious chocolate Yolk cookies recipe is one of those recipes. These cookies are very chewy and soft inside and crunchy on the outside. Egg yolk makes the bonding in the recipe. In this recipe, I am using 5 egg yolks, and that will create the chewiness in the cookies.

    Recipe Note

    • This recipe is very very easy to prepare. I mean within a few minutes it comes together. There are only 15 minutes of chilling time.
    • These chocolate yolk cookies contain a good amount of chopped chocolate, and in every bite, there is a burst of chocolate in your mouth.
    • As the name of the recipe suggests, we are going to use only egg yolks to make these cookies and VOLIA 😉 Egg yolk means bonding and chewiness! These cookies will have a crusty surface that creates a crunchy bite.
    • The baking time is only 10-12 minutes. It cannot be easier than that.
    • I have used a mix of dark and milk chocolate in these cookies. You can do only dark or whichever you prefer.
    • If you prefer, you can add some nuts such as pecans or walnuts to these cookies.
