The easy and tiny batch of delicious, decadent, chocolaty rich brownies.
This brownie recipe is very quick, tiny, decadent, fudgy, rich, creamy, and delicious. Oh, my list can go on. I called this recipe "Tiniest Brownie Batch" because it makes a small batch just to satisfy your spontaneous sweet tooth craving!!
About This Recipe
- This recipe does not need any fancy ingredients, not even any fancy equipment is required. You can make this small batch of brownies with just a hand whisk.
- Ingredients are very basic, and you probably already have them in your fridge or pantry.
- Since this is a small batch of brownies, we do not need the typical 9X13-inch pan. Instead, we need to prepare a 9X5 loaf pan.
- We are using melted butter here, so you do not have to wait for the butter to come to room temperature.
- I am also using 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to have a gooey and soft texture.
- I am using both dark chocolate chips and chopped milk chocolate here. If you want to use only one of them or eliminate the chocolate, that will be okay.
- I am also incorporating half a teaspoon of espresso powder to intensify the cocoa and chocolate flavor.
- I used Dutch-processed cocoa powder in this recipe, although, Natural cocoa powder will work fine also. This is what I always use Cocoa Powder
- We need one room temperature egg. No problem if you did not have enough time to wait for the egg to come to room temperature. Place the egg in a bowl of lukewarm water for a few minutes, and the problem is solved. see TIP TUESDAY for more tips and tricks.
- This recipe uses a small amount of all-purpose flour to give the structure and density to this brownie.
- We need both granulated sugar as well as brown sugar. Brown sugar adds moisture and flavor to the brownies.
How To Make The Tiniest Brownie Batch
- Line a 9X5 loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Start with melting the butter. Mix the vegetable oil into the butter.
- Mix both sugars into the melted butter, and whisk.
- Add in the egg and the vanilla extract and whisk until all is incorporated.
- Gently fold in the dry ingredient. DO NOT OVERMIX. We are not trying to incorporate any air into the batter.
- Lastly, add in the chocolate chips and the chopped chocolate if using, and mix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth out the top. bake for 25-30 minutes.
Disclaimer: I highly recommend using the measurements in grams & ml (instead of cups & spoons) for more accuracy and better results.
