That's correct!! This decadent loaf is loaded with chocolate chips, Chopped chocolate, caramelized bananas, and more. This Triple chocolate banana loaf is easy to make, delicious, and super super versatile. It can be on your breakfast table as well as a midday snack etc.
About This Recipe
- This Triple Chocolate Banana Loaf is very easy to make, and seriously when I say that, I mean it. It is super easy to make. You do not even have to have a stand mixer.
- What is special about this recipe is that we use caramelized bananas instead of raw bananas. Golden caramelized bananas give that extra rich and caramel flavor to our loaf.
- We basically mix all the wet ingredients in one bowl and all the dry in another bowl and mix them up, and that is it 🙂
- I am using both chocolate chips and chopped chocolate bars in this recipe. The chocolate chips create a rich chocolaty flavor, and the pieces of the chopped bars, melt within the crumb and create those pools of chocolate in the center of each bite.
- The combination of banana and chocolate flavor is so perfect for a breakfast item.
- I am not using any nuts in this recipe, but if you prefer, add ½ cup chopped walnut or pecans to the batter and you will be good to go!
How To Make this Triple Chocolate Banana Loaf
- We start with melting the butter, then adding the oil and the brown sugar. Mixing well until all is incorporated.
- Then add in the egg and the vanilla extract. Whisk the ingredients to the point that the mixture is lighter in color and texture.
- Mash the bananas and add to the wet ingredients, and mix.
- In a separate bowl mix all the dry ingredients and add to the banana mixture and mix. DO NOT OVERMIX.
- We have already chopped the chocolate bars, now add them to the dough along with the chocolate chips.
- If using any nuts, now is the time to do add that. Gently fold in all the final ingredients. I have added some chocolate chips and pieces of chocolate on top of the cake. that will give a beautiful look to the loaf. Bake, and enjoy.
