About This Recipe
- These brownies require very basic and simple ingredients and come together very quickly.
- Unlike other blondie recipes, this recipe does not use white chocolate; instead, it calls for a ton of mini chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. These mini chips go inside the batter and on top to make the final brownies more beautiful.
- I use mini chocolate chips and mini peanut butter chips in this dessert, however, if there is an alergy concern, you can substitute them with white chocolate or butterscotch chips. Your choice!
- This Studded Blondie batter calls for melted butter. Melted butter makes the batter very silky and smooth.
- We use brown sugar for the sweetness; also, brown sugar contains molasses which adds some extra flavor and moisture to the brownies.
- This recipe calls for two eggs and one egg yolk. Eggs play a role as glue; egg yolk has bonding properties and contributes to the fudgy texture. When adding the eggs to the butter mixture, whisk the batter vigorously. This step is essential to create that shiny and crackly surface.
- The base of the batter is a mix of all-purpose flour, and salt which is added to the batter at the end.
- Mix in both chocolate chips and gently fold. These brownies bake in an 8X8 pan.
How To Make These Studded Blondies
- First, melt the butter and add in the sugar to mix well.

- Add the vanilla extract and mix.

- Spread the batter in the lined 8X8 inch pan, and finally sprinkle some extra chips on top and bake.

Ingredients
- ⅔ cup Butter, Melted
- 1⅓ cup Brown sugar, Packed
- 2 Eggs, Room temperature
- 1 Yolk, Room temperature
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 cups All-purpose flour, Spooned and leveled
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¾ cup Chocolate chips, Mini
- ¾ cup Peanut butter chips, Mini
For Topping
- ¼ cup Chocolate chips
- ¼ cup Peanut butter chips
Instructions
- Preheat he oven to 350°F and grease and line an 8X8 inch pan. set it aside.
- Melt the butter on medium heat. Transfer the butter to the mixing bowl. Add in the sugar and mix well.⅔ cup Butter, 1⅓ cup Brown sugar
- Add the eggs, yolk, and vanilla extract and whisk vigorously for 2-3 minutes until the mixture is light, smooth, and silky.2 Eggs, 1 Yolk, 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- Use a spatula and mix in the flour and salt. Gently mix the flour until no trace of flour is seen.1 cups All-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon Salt
- Mix in the chocolate and peanut butter chips.¾ cup Peanut butter chips, ¾ cup Chocolate chips
- Spread the batter in the lined pan, and smooth out the surface with a spatula. Sprinkle the remaining chips all over the top.¼ cup Chocolate chips, ¼ cup Peanut butter chips
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. After 25 minutes insert a toothpick in the center and if it comes out with a few crumbs, he blondies is ready.
- Let it cool down completely before cutting them.
