How To Make These Thin Peanut Butter Cookies
- Unlike most cookie recipes, we must melt the butter, let it cool down, add sugars, and mix afterwards.
- Next, add the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until combined. We are not trying to aerate the batter.
- In the end, add the peanut butter and molasses and mix well. The mixture is light brown, smooth, and thick.
- Sift the dry ingredients and add to the mixture.

Thin Peanut Butter Cookies
These delicious thin peanut butter cookies are packed with flavours and they melt in your mouth.
Ingredients
- ½ cup Butter, Melted
- ¾ cup Brown sugar, Packed
- ½ cup Granulated sugar
- 1 Egg, Room temperature
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ¼ cup Peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon Molasses
- 1½ cup All-purpose flour, Spooned and leveled
- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ cup Peanuts, For topping, roughly chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. To make these cookies, you do not need a stand mixer. A hand mixer is fine.
- Melt the butter and let cool down slightly, then add sugars and whisk until well blended.½ cup Butter, ¾ cup Brown sugar, ½ cup Granulated sugar
- Add the egg and vanilla extract and whisk well before adding the following ingredients.1 Egg, 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- Add the peanut butter and molasses and mix well.¼ cup Peanut butter, 1 tablespoon Molasses
- Sift the dry ingredients into the mixture and mix until there is no trace of flour.1½ cup All-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon Baking soda, ¼ teaspoon Salt
- Scoop the dough onto the lined baking sheets the size of a walnut in a shell, and top them with a few chopped peanuts.¼ cup Peanuts
- Bake them for 12-15 minutes. Do not overbake them. They are done when the edges are set.
