Preheat the oven to 325°F, grease, and line an 8X8 square pan.
Make the brownie recipe as instructed in the Easy-Breezy Brownie recipe.
Reserve ¾ cup of the batter, and pour the rest into the pan.
Mix 1 cup of apple butter with the reserved brownie batter and drop dollops of this mixture over the brownie batter and make fine swirls using the tip of a pairing knife.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the edges are set and the surface looks crusted.
Let cool down in the pan, then transfer to the cooling rack to cool completely before cutting.
