Instructions
Wash, core, and slice the apples.
4 lb Apples
Pour all the ingredients into a large pot and place on the stove.
1 cup Water,
2 tablespoon Sugar,
½ teaspoon Salt,
2 tablespoon Lemon juice,
4 Cinnamon sticks
Cook the apples until all their flesh is soft. about 2 hours.
Remove the cinnamon sticks. Using an immersion blender, blend all the mixture until smooth and lump free.
Let the mixture cool down, then fill the jars and store them in the fridge.
Notes
The color of the apples determines the final color of the apple sauce. I used red apples.
