Brown the butter and set it aside to cool down and solidify.

Sift all dry ingredients and set aside.
2 cups All-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon Baking powder, 3 teaspoon Fall spice blend, ½ teaspoon Salt
Chop the apples into half an inch small pieces.

Preheat the oven to 350℉. Grease and line an 8X8-inch square pan. Set aside.
Using the paddle attachment beat the cool butter and brown sugar until well blended and smooth.

Add in the eggs, one at a time and beat well after each addition.

Add the apple sauce and vanilla extract and mix. The mixture should be smooth and homogeneous at this point.

Use a rubber spatula to fold the dry ingredients, and gently mix everything. Do not overmix the batter. Stop mixing when you still see a few streaks of flour.
Fold in the apples and mix them into the batter. Do not overmix. Grease and line an 8 X 8-inch pan. Spread the batter into the pan and smooth it evenly in the pan.
Sprinkle the top with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Bake the blondies for 35-40 minutes. Let them cool down before cutting them into squares. These blondies pair really well with a scoop of ice cream.
