Barks of any sort is one of the easiest and most versatile treats. They can bring a ton of flavors, colors, and textures to a treat basket. These Chocolate Pecan Bars are delicious, decadent, and super gorgeous.
Preheat the oven to 375°F, and line a 9X13-inch pan with aluminum foil. Set it aside.
Set the paddle attachment and beat the butter and sugar until light in color and fluffy.
¾ cup Butter, ½ cup Brown sugar
Add in the egg and vanilla extract, and mix.
1 Egg, 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Using a spatula gently fold in the flour and salt and mix.
¼ cup Salt, 2 cups All-purpose flour
Spread the mixture into the pan, and with your fingertips press the dough to the bottom of the pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges turn golden. Let the base cool down completely.
Melt the chocolate in a saucepan, pour it over the base, and immediately toss the chopped pecans and pistachios all over the chocolate.
¾ cup Milk chocolate, ¾ cup Pecans, ¼ cup Pictachios
Let the chocolate cool down and harden, then cut the bars in any shape you prefer.
