These delicious, soft, chewy Chocolate Sprinkle Thumbprint Cookies are effortless to make, and they will be the little gems on your afternoon tea table or even in your Christmas cookie box.
Switch to a rubber spatula and fold in the dry ingredients. Do not over mix.
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Use an ice cream scoop or your hand. Make small balls the size of a small tangerine. Place them all on one baking sheet- no need to space them. Place the baking sheet in the fridge for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, preheat the oven to 350°F. Roll the cookie balls in the sprinkles. If the cookies are too cold and sprinkles are not sticking to them, hold them in your palms for a few seconds to warm them up slightly.

Place them on the cookie sheets and leave an inch of space between them. Bake them for 9 minutes, bring them out and gently press a Hershy's kiss in the center, and place them back into the oven and bake for another minue.
