Cream Cheese Frosting

- 16 ounce Cream cheese, 2 blocks at Room temperature
- 1 cup Butter, Room temperature
- 7-8 cups Powdered sugar, Sifed
- 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract, Preferably clear
Leave the cream cheese and the butter out of the fridge a few hours before.
Using the paddle attachment, beat the butter until light, pale and fluffy. This may take about 5 minutes.
1 cup Butter
Add in the cream cheese and mix well for about 2 minutes.
16 ounce Cream cheese
Once the cream cheese and butter are mixed well, add the powdered sugar in ΒΌ cups and mix well after each addition.
7-8 cups Powdered sugar
At last, add the vanilla extract and mix.
1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
Beat the mixture for two more minutes until smooth and creamy.
This cream cheese is ready to frost a cake or pipe on cupcakes.
Store the frosting in the fridge, and when you want to use it again, beat it for one minute and it will become smooth and spreadable.
