Ingredients
 

For The Cupcakes

  • ¾ cup Butter, Room-temperature
  • cup Sugar
  • 4 Eggs, Room-temperature
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup Milk, Room-temperature
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Nescafe powder
  • 1 tablespoon Hot water
  • cups All-purpose flour, Spooned and levelled
  • teaspoon Baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

For The Frosting

  • 1 cup Butter, Room-temperature
  • ¼ cup Cream cheese, Room-temperature
  • 2-3 cups Powdered sugar
  • teaspoon Nescafe powder
  • 1 teaspoon Hot water
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 3-4 tablespoon Heavy cream

How To Make The Cupcakes

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line 16 cupcake pan cavities with liners. Set aside.
  • Mix the Nescafe powder and hot water, and set aside to cool down.
    2 tablespoon Nescafe powder, 1 tablespoon Hot water
  • First, beat the room-temperature butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    ¾ cup Butter, 1½ cup Sugar
  • Add the eggs one at a time and mix well after each one.

  • Mix the room-temperature milk, oil, vanilla extract, and Nescafe mixture in a separate bow.
    1 tablespoon Vanilla extract, ¾ cup Milk, ¼ cup Oil
  • Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt and add one-third of the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk mixture. This will be three parts of dry ingredients and two parts of liquid ingredients. Start and finish with dry ingredients.
    2½ cups All-purpose flour, 2½ teaspoon Baking powder, ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • Fill them up to ⅔ of their capacity. Bake them for 17-18 minutes, and let them cool down before frosting.

How To Make The Frosting

  • Mix the Nescafe powder in hot water and set it aside to cool down.
    1 teaspoon Hot water, 1½ teaspoon Nescafe powder
  • Beat the butter until soft, light, and fluffy.

  • Add the cream cheese and mix well.
    ¼ cup Cream cheese
  • Add the powdered sugar in ¼ of a cup and beat well after each addition.
    2-3 cups Powdered sugar
  • Add the coffee, vanilla extract, and heavy cream and mix well. If the buttercream is too stiff, add some heavy cream; if it is too runny, add more powdered sugar. Use your favourite piping tip to pipe the buttercream on the cool cupcakes. You can garnish them with Nescafe powder or place a coffee chocolate on top.
