Pumpkin Rice Krispies

The easiest, cutest, and most fun Pumpkin Rice Krispies that every kid will love to make and eat for Halloween.

Ingredients
 

  • 2 tablespoon Butter, Cubed
  • 3 cups Marshmallows, About 40 large Marshmallows
  • 2-3 drops Orange gel food coloring
  • 5 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 15 Hershey's Kisses, For topping

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter on low heat.
    2 tablespoon Butter
  • Bring the heat to medium and add the marshmallows to the butter and stir until they are melted and liquidfy.
    3 cups Marshmallows
  • Remove the pan from the heat, add the food coloring, and mix well.
    2-3 drops Orange gel food coloring
  • Add the Rice Krispies, and mix until all the rice pieces are coated with melted marshmallows.
    5 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
  • Let the mixture cool down for 5 minutes. If the mixture is too hot, you won't be able to form a ball with it. Using surgical gloves, make small balls the size of tangerines. Press the ball lengthwise to make it look like a pumpkin.
  • With your index finger make a hole on top of the pumpkin and place a Hershey's kiss in the hole and press down.
