Ingredients
 

For Donuts

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour, Spooned and levelled
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 2 Eggs, Room temperature
  • ½ cup Granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup Milk, Room temperature
  • ¼ cup Butter, Melted
  • ¼ cup Sour cream, Room temperature

For The Coating

  • 2 tablespoon Butter, For brushing
  • ½ cup Granulated sugar, Fine
  • 1 tablespoon Cinnamon

For Plain Glaze

  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoon Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

For The Chocolate Glaze

  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate, Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

How To Make The Donuts

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉, lightly spray the pan's cavities, and set aside.
  • Sift dry ingredients and set them aside.
    2 cups All-purpose flour, 2 teaspoon Baking powder, ½ teaspoon Salt, 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Whisk the Eggs, Sugar, Melted Butter, Milk, and Vanilla Extract until smooth and slightly light in colour.
    2 Eggs, ¾ cup Milk, ¼ cup Butter, ¼ cup Sour cream, ½ cup Granulated sugar
  • Add dry ingredients in two additions and gently mix. The batter will be fluffy and airy. Do not Overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the piping bag and cut the tip of the bag with scissors to an inch hole. Pipe the batter into the greased pan cavities to ⅔ of their capacity. It is essential not to overfill the cavities.
  • Bake them for 10 to 12 minutes. You can test their doneness by gently pressing their top; if it bounces, they are ready. Similarly, if an insert comes out clean, they are ready. Let The Best Baked Donuts cool in the pan for five minutes, then flip them to a cooling rack to cool down.
  • Melt two tablespoons of butter and brush the donuts with butter using a bakery brush. This will help the cinnamon sugar stick to the donuts better.In a shallow bowl, mix the cinnamon and granulated sugar. Use your hand or another clean and dry brush to apply the sugar to the donuts while the butter is still warm.

How To Make The Sugar Glaze

  • Whisk all the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and drizzly. Add more milk if it is too stif and more powdered sugar if it is too runny.
    1 cup Powdered sugar, 3 tablespoon Milk, 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • If you want to apply this glaze, after the donuts are cool after baking, dip them into this glaze and place them on a rack for the glaze to drip off.

How To Make The Chocolate Glaze

  • Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler until smooth and lump-free.
    1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate, 1 tablespoon Butter
  • Remove from the heat and whisk in the milk and vanilla. Dip the donuts in the chocolate mixture and place them on the rack to drip off the excess chocolate.
    2 tablespoon Heavy cream, 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
