Using the paddle attachment, beat the softened butter and two sugars. Beat until light and fluffy. This will take about 2-3 minutes.
1 cup Butter, ¾ cup Brown sugar, 1 cup Granulated sugar
Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, and beat for another minute or two.
2 Eggs, 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
Switch to a spatula, and gently fold in the dry ingredients.
Add in the chocolate chips and mix.
1½ cups Dark Chocolate chips
Using an ice cream scoop or a spoon drop balls of the dough on the lined sheets. Bake for 13-15 minutes. Cookies are done when the edges are slightly brown and set. Let them cool down on the tray then transfer them to the cooling rack to cool down.
