Ingredients
 

For The Cake

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour, Spooned and leveled
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 eggs, Room temperature
  • ½ cup Sour cream, Room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Coconut extract, Or almond extract
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract

For The Icing

  • ½ cup Butter
  • cup Milk
  • cups Powdered sugar, Sifted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Walnut, Toasted

Instructions
 

How To Make The Cake

  • Preheat the oven to 375℉, and grease and flour a 9X13-inch baking sheet. Set it aside.
  • Chop the walnuts (or Pecan). Spread them on a baking sheet and put the pan in a 350℉ oven for 10-15 minuts until they are golden in colour and their aroma is released.
    1 cup Walnut
  • Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar. Set aside.
    2 cups All-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon Baking powder, ½ teaspoon Baking soda, ½ teaspoon Salt, 2 cups Granulated sugar
  • Place the butter and water in a saucepan and put over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
    1 cup Butter, 1 cup Water
  • Pour the mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well. The mixture resembles warm pudding.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, sour cream, vanilla extract, and coconut extract and add to the above mixture. Mix well and pour into the prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
    2 eggs, ½ cup Sour cream, 1 teaspoon Coconut extract, ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract

How To Make The Icing

  • In the meantime, make the icing. Melt the butter and add the milk. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix well. Add the vanilla extract and Mix in the toasted walnuts.
    ½ cup Butter, ⅓ cup Milk, 3½ cups Powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • Let the cake cool down for 10-15 minutes, then turn in on a cooling rack
  • While the icing is still warm, pour it over the warm cake.
