- Add dry ingredients in two additions and gently mix. The batter will be fluffy and airy. Do not Overmix.
- Lightly grease the donut pan, pour the batter into the piping bag and cut the tip of the bag with scissors to an inch hole.
- Pipe the batter into the greased pan cavities to ⅔ of their capacity. It is important not to overfill the holes.
- Bake them for ten to twelve minutes. You can test their doneness by gently pressing their top; if it bounces, they are ready. Similarly, if an insert comes out clean, they are ready.
- Let The Best Baked Donuts cool in the pan for five minutes, then flip them to a cooling rack to cool down.
- Melt two tablespoons of butter and brush the donuts with butter using a bakery brush. This will help the cinnamon sugar stick to the donuts better.

Variations;
- You can glaze them with a plain sugar glaze. Mix powdered sugar, Milk, Vanilla Extract, and lemon juice. Dip the donuts into the glaze and place on the rack to drip off.
- The other option is to add a small amount of food colouring or fruit reduction to give the glaze some colour and flavour.
- These will taste really good if dipped in a chocolate glaze. The exact recipe is on the recipe card.
- Sprinkle these donuts with any sprinkles to make them more fun and seasonal.
